Rockchip RK3368, 64-Bit CPU solution Published


After 2014, Mobile phones fully changed to 64-bit CPU times. In 2015, tablet computers also start to change to 64-bit processor. As one of the big mobile device processor provider, Rockchip published its latest 64-bit chip, named RK3368, in the 2015 CES. It is Cortex-A53 program, 1.5GHz Octa-core 28nm processor.

In the CES, the tablet showed by Rockchip is still a engineering machine. We guess the official tablet would be released very soon. There were many China chip makers published news of 64-bit CPU recently. In the future, we would wait and see who is the faster one to release tablet running with 64-bit cpu in the market. While the operating system would be mostly Android L, which is the first version that supports 64-bit cpu from Google!

What's more, in RK3368 also has good media playing performance like other Rockchip chipsets. It can support 2560*1600 super high definition display. And it really supports 4K*2K H.265 video hardware decoding and 4K*2K video HDMI input. RK3368 can put in high-end tablets and high-end TV box. Especially in TV box, it can have very good performance!
