RK3066 Sanei N10 Ampe A10 Dual Core edition 10.1 inch Android Tablet

The Sanei N10 Ampe A10 deluxe edition is a 10.1 inch IPS touchscreen Android 4.0 ICS tablet. It supports bluetooth and has AllWinner A10 single-core CPU and Mali-400 GPU inside. Cause of the high definition (1280*800 pixel) HD display and cheap price, it has received lots of positive feedback from customers.

Now Sanei/Ampe released a quad-core edition. Let's have a look and see what items have been improved.

items N10 A10 Dual-Core edition N10 A10 deluxe edition
system Android 4.1.1 jelly bean Android 4.0.4 ice cream sandwich
CPU 1.6GHz Dual-Core RK3066 1.5GHz single-core A10
GPU Quad-Core Mali-400 single-core Mali-400
bluetooth NO YES

From the above table, we can see the main improvements is the system and CPU,GPU. But in our test, we can also see the touchscreen material is also improved, the Sanei N10 Ampe A10 dual-core edition got better touchscreen, it is more clear and vivid.

The IPS touchscreen supports 10-point multi-touch.

We used the Quadrant professional benchmark tool to test the CPU,I/O etc performance.
With the much better RK3066 CHIP inside, which includes a dual-core Cortex A9 CPU and a quad-core Mali-400 GPU, Sanei N10 Ampe A10 dual core edition has very good performance. Its score is even higher than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 !

Only thing would be the dual-core edition does not come with bluetooth. However, in my opnion, the bluetooth in a Android Tablet is not so useful. Most of us would use the tablet to surf web, play games, watch movies, read e-books etc. the bluetooth is actually is not a required function as we would not use it so often.

Generally speaking, the Sanei N10 Ampe A10 dual-core edition is another good choice if you want a tablet or e-reader to play with.
