We thought before the Allwinner A80 is a 64 bit CPU for tablet computers when Allwinner said Big 64 ealier this year. While it means 64 core GPU not 64 bit. According the news from Allwinner, the real 64 bit CPU would come out soon, and most likely would be during end of the year. The time is quit reasonable considering the latest Google I/O meeting, which published the Android L latest operating system. One of the biggest update of Android L is the support of 64 bit computing CPU. The new CPU from Allwinner is based on ARMv8-A program. The open-source organization Linaro published the AOSP firmware based on LSK v14.06 and it supports ARMv8-A program. The firmware would be tested on ARM 64bit Juno platform. As the member of Linaro, Allwinner is cooperating with Linaro , the open of ARMv8 program AOSP firmware would boost the diversified development of Allwinner. We would see more good tablet pcs using Allwinner CPU in the market.

After multiple sizes of tablets, iFive start to produce 3G phone tablets this year. While with the Intel went into Shenzhen, many China tablets manufactuers start to sell Win8 tablets, such as Yuandao, Ramos, Cube, Teclast etc. From the official blog, iFive also put some photos of Win8 tablet, which means iFive would produce Win8 tablet computer soon. From the photos, we guess it would be a 10 inch display Win8 tablet . Considering the other products from iFive. This new tablet continues using white front and white back cover design. There is a speaker in the front left side, there should be another one in the right side as well. The expansion ports are mainly in the left side of the tablet. iFive did not publish more details yet. According the information we have, it would be a 10.1 inch 1920*1200 pixel definition IPS display with Intel 3740D cpu, 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and 5.0MP main camera.

Recently Yuandao released a new 7 inch retina display 8-core CPU 3G phablet M87 . From the specification, its hardwares are quit strong. From official data, Yuandao M87 has a 7 inch LIPS display with 1920*1200 super high defintion retina level. It comes with MTK MT6592 8-core CPU and 2GB RAM. What's more, it has front 5.0MP and rear 8.0MP HD dual cameras and supports 3G network and bluetooth 4.0! The design of this tablet pc is also very good. It has super-narrow frame, 8.2mm ultra-thin body and 266g only light weight. The battery inside is 3000mAh, which is bit low. This tablet would run Google Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.

Recently, there was new exposure of Allwinner A80T 8-core tablet pc from Onda. As another tablets manufacturer Teclast follows the step also publish a A80T 8-core tablet - Teclast P98 Air ! This is the second Allwinner A80T 8 core Android tablet after Onda V989 8-core tablet. The hardwares of Teclast P98 Air are very good. This tablet has a 9.7 inch 2048*1536 pixel high definition retina IPS display with Allwinner A80T 8-core CPU. It has 2GB RAM and 32GB on-board storage! About the appearance, the thickness of P98 Air is 7.4mm only! The whole design is outstanding! Teclast has not published the accurate release date and price. If including the P98 Air, now Teclast have two 8-core tablets. The other is P98 3G edition which uses MediaTek MT8389 8-core CPU.

Ramos i8 Pro is a using Intel quad-core CPU 8 inch tablet pc . It is running the full version Windows 8.1 operating system, built-in GPS. It has powerful functions and hardware with portable size. Basically, i8 Pro has all the features that a small size windows tablet usually has. 8 inch display is very easy to bring with. And the quad-core Z3740D cpu is same with i10 Pro. The definition is the main stream 8 inch 1280*800 pixel, similar with those size notebook. The built-in GPS navigation chipset is quit useful and the 8.0 mega pixel camera is great. The design of Ramos tablets are usually very good, so does the i8 pro windows tablet . Pure style pack...

Allwinner released the brand new quad-core CPU A33 in the 2014 Taipei Computex. Like its name, it is a low-end CPU followed the route of A13,A23. It is based on Cortex A7 quad-core program with 1.3GHz processor speed and Mali400 MP2 GPU. And it supports 1080P decoding and H.264 videos. A33 can support up to 1280*800 pixel definition display. The target of A33 is very clear. It will focus at very cheap products and in the near future we would see super cheap quad-core tablet computers . With the development so far, the quad-core Q8 android tablet would come out very soon. A33 has very similar specifications with A23. The CPU upgrades to quad-core from dual-core, we believe the performance would be also upgraded to new level!

The 7 inch high definition retina display Android tablet P79HD has been selling for sometime now.  But Teclast not just stopped there. Teclast would also release a same 7 inch 1920*1200 definition IPS phone tablet - Teclast P79HD 3G edition. Like the P79HD, P79HD 3G edition has a 7 inch 1920*1200 pixel definition IPS display with Intel Z2580 CPU. But the RAM of P79HD 3G upgrades to 2GB, and it adds phone call, WCDMA 3g network, GPS navigation etc functions. The price of P79HD 3G has not been published yet. But it's news said that it would show in the market during second half of May.
